Optivent ORA are upcoming smartglasses developed by a French eyewear company Optivent S.A. The device uses Optivent's patented Clear-Vu reflective waveguide technology to deliver the visual information. The developer version of the device is available to purchase on the official website and comes with a tailored version of Android SKD. Optivent's goal wit the device is to offer an alternative to smatphones that has better visual quality and is hands-free.[7] The official website also lists available apps that the user can install on their Optivent ORA device.[8]

Optivent ORA are smartglasses equipped with one adjustable see-through display that displays and overlays virtual elements onto the user's visual field, thus creating augmented reality. Optivent markets the device for industrial, military, and leisure use.[5] The official website states that the device, and other smartglasses, "will gradually replace the conventional hand held smart-phone touchscreen interface".[7]
