== Ethical Issues ==
One of the most concerning issues for Apple is their alleged connection with illegal minerals resources. According to the article which was released by the company Apple in February 2015 their mineral resources are legal. <ref name="ref8">http://images.apple.com/euro/supplier-responsibility/b/generic/pdf/Conflict_Minerals_Report.pdf (Retrieved December 06 2015)</ref> These minerals include tin used in circuit boards; tungsten, found in light bulbs; and tantalum used to regulate the flow of electricity and gold often used as an electricity conductor are used for manufacture of Apple products. The company had to prove that the minerals did not come from the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo or Central Africa.<ref name="ref9">http://www.apple.com/apple-events/september-2015/ (Retrieved December 06 2015)</ref> In February 2015 They promised to do so.  Among other significant ethical issues concern the company’s strong brand name. At the moment of Apple watch launch other companies may have had plans to start smart watch production, however due to the company's name strength the abandoned their plans thus losing money and canceling jobs. <ref name="ref10">http://businessethicsblog.com/2014/09/11/apples-new-watch-and-the-ethics-of-disruption/ (Retrieved December 06 2015)</ref> Apple Watch offers the possibility to use them as credit cards in the stores, if this trend becomes widespread there could be impact on the companies who manufacture plastic bank cards. These two ethical issues may apply to any other company, but while Apple is such a strong trademark it seems that its impact is much more devastating on its competition than in other cases. Other ethical issues involve the ever growing problem of todays society which becomes increasingly addicted to electronic devices such as cellphones, tablets and computers always connected to the internet. Sherry Turkle describes these issues in her book “Alone Together: Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other”, where she is saying:”that the successful are always connected.” <ref name="ref11">Turkle, S. Always On (chap.8, The new state of the Self,s. 163) (Retrieved December 06 2015)</ref>The watch could be even more addictive than the rest of the mentioned devices since it is worn on a hand and thus constantly in person's field of view. We can hide the cell phone into the bag but the Watch will constantly remind us of received text messages missed phone calls and Instagram and Facebook messages. All these notifications are optional however the more is person addicted the more notifications he/she wants to get.
Apple Watch offers us the ultimate wellness and healthy life guide which unfortunately does not lead to happier life but more often causes people to become narcissistic and too self involved sometimes even hypochondriac. People stop focusing on the outside world and on social contacts others than through the electronic devices. <ref name="ref12"> http://theconversation.com/apple-delivers-smart-watch-but-you-might-want-to-think-twice-about-getting-one-31526 (Retrieved December 06 2015)</ref>
